Nude (1935) Grefe - 022
NOTE: From the author: the painting of a nude woman which hung over the bar in the Studio Inn restaurant in Miami, Florida, was sold in 1947 to an elderly man from Pennsylvania. He surely is deceased now. The man was Jos. D. Hoopes who lived on Marion Ave., Downington, Pa.
Recently, I found a small photo of this painting (below). This is the only record I have of it. I have attempted to find surviving relatives of Mr. Hoopes', hoping to find the painting but to no avail. Can anyone solve this mystery?
